You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.

Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter:

explain why you are writing;

express concern about the missing card and

ask them what they intend to do

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with regards to the missing debit card from the envelope I received from the bank dated 9/7/2019. Just by looking at the envelope I could make out that it was tampered and shocking to know that my new debit card was missing from the envelope.

I am concerned about the missing debit card because it can be misused by the person who has stolen it. Recently I have deposited my savings and I am a bit worried about the money withdrawal using ATM machines. I strongly suspect it must have been stolen during the dispatch or delivery process and I am deeply concerned with the bank security measures while dispatching the confidential and vital personal information via mails. I request you to kindly block the card to avoid any fraud activities.

Also, I would like to hear a detailed report about the upcoming measures taken to prevent and avoid such criminal incidents hereafter.

Looking forward to hearing a promising response from your end.

Regards,

Raghav
