You have recently enrolled in a part-time course in a university. Write a letter to the dean about something you are not pleased with.
describe your course
express your feelings about the course
give suggestions regarding what the university should do
Dear Sir,
I am writing this to express my dissatisfaction about the part-time course I enrolled in your university last week. The course name is “Learn C programming in-depth”. Please allow me to elaborate more on this.
First of all, the course curriculum and name of the course both seems very pleasing for an intermediate to advanced level programmers. Being myself at medium level, I opt for this course to enhance my knowledge one-level ahead. But, to my utter dismay, I did not feel the same way after I attended classes for couple of weeks. This course is so simple for experienced students and is suitable for fresher only. Moreover, most of the contents were explained by the tutor hypothetically with no practical information about them.
As a suggestion, I would like to request you to inform tutor about changing the course material which fits best for advanced programmers. Along with that, teaching approach should be more pragmatic rather than theory because it is a programming course and with more practical knowledge, students will be benefited hugely.
I hope the situation will be dealt on priority basic in a positive way.
Yours Sincerely
Simar
