You lost something and someone found it and sent it to you. Writing a letter to that person - Thanking the person –
• Explain how you must have lost it
• Explain what was there in it
• Why it was important to you
Dear John,
Hope you are doing great! I am extremely obliged to you in return of my lost valuables.
Last week, I visited Valencia City in order to discuss business development strategies with the client at the Starbucks cafe. I took out the laptop and other stuffs from my backpack. After the conference, both of us left the place to our respective destinations. After reaching home, I realized that personal pouch is missing and suspected that, it was forgotten by me at the café.
The pouch contained a hard drive with all confidential data, Identification proofs as well as card holder with credit and debit cards. Among all these the storage device was the most important one which I was worried much.
The solid state drive was stored with secret information about business strategies, unique sales points as well as other important documents. This data is crucial for us and if it goes in to wrong hand could create a breach in our business strategies and plans.
With immense pleasure, I would like to thank you again for returning the precious stuffs. Your helping hand saved me from the future consequences.
God bless you,
Regards,
Sd-/
