Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to request you that kindly reconsider the location to build an airport.
Yesterday, I was reading the daily newspaper and I discovered that aviation authority has announced to develop the domestic airport in district 9 where I live. It was also mentioned that construction will begin soon.
This project would likely to have a lot of detrimental effects on our community. In addition, to noise and air pollution, traffic would be increased many folds because the project will attract a lot of people from the surrounding areas. As our district infrastructure is relatively outdated and is not capable of handling a lot of commuters, people will be stuck in traffic jams all the time.
After analyzing the situation, I would like to suggest that It would be better if you consider construction of this project in district 11 which is just 20 Km away from the current location. This area is relatively new and has a lot of vacant lands which pose the opportunity to widen the roads and upgrade the infrastructure.
