You recently read an article in newspaper about someone you know personally. You found some information is wrong. Write a letter to editor to inform him about it. Use following points:
1) What is the article about?
2) What is the error?
3) What you expect an editor to do?
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter regarding the article which was published on 22nd June 2019 in ‘Daily Miirror’ news paper. The title was named as “Biography of famous lecturer Mr.K.L.Silva ”.But unfortunately some facts which were published about him was not correct.
Let me explain in more detail. Since I have worked with him for 10 years, I know him very well. Therefore I am writing this letter to point out some false facts which were included into the article. According to that article, it says that Mr Silva has competed his higher studies from the University of Greenwich. But it should be corrected as “University of Monash”. Not only that, article says that he was blessed with 2 babies at the age of years. But make sure to amend that as ‘3 childen’.at
As we all know, Daily mirror is the one of the famous news papers in Australia.it is really important to verify all the details before publishing that. Publishing false information regarding a famous persons also cannot be accepted. Hence I request you to correct all the above mentioned details and republish the article in the near future.
If you need further clarifications, please contact me through my email address.
Your Sincerely,
Rekha Ferdasanz
