You rented a car recently, but were not satisfied with it.
Write a letter of complaint to the rental agency. In your letter
• Introduce yourself
• Explain what went wrong with the car you rented
• Ask for some form of compensation.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the bad service I have received from your company.
I have rented an economy class vehicle from your company for 4 days, from 21st to 24th of June and I paid the money in cash.
After just 2 days of driving the car I realized that there have been a few problems with it including a flat tire, broken engine and an empty fuel tank. Firstly, I have been driving 3 kilometers that I understood the tire was flat and it had to be changed. Secondly, It was one of the main parts of the contract that mentioned the tank should be full and the car could be driven for 30 km, but to my surprise it was half full and I paid $1500 for fuel. Finally, in the second day of driving the car I could hear some exotic sounds from the engine and consequently it has broken down in the middle of my way to Sydney which caused me a lot of inconveniences.
I would like you to refund all the money that was paid for this rental car as well as providing a new car which would be in standard condition; otherwise, I would be entitled to pass the issue to the syndicate or court in order to ask for compensation.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Rahi Honarvar
