Essay topics:

You went to a theatre yesterday with a friend. Your friend had an accident and a staff member helped. Write to manager:
How it happened
How staff member helped
What should be done in future.

Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to complain about poor waste management of your theatre. My friend suffered serious accident while we both were exiting the premise after enjoying the evening show, and I believe things would not have gone wrong, if you had taken measures earlier.

I, along with my friend Martha, am a regular visitor to your theatre that we pay a visit once in a week. Yesterday, she could not see a lying banana peel while exiting in low-lit theatre and stepped on it. As a result, she had sudden fall on the floor. Luckily the responsible staff for that zone came very fast and managed to provide first-aid to her. So far I can remember, his name is Luis. We were also complemented with home-drop service by your theatre. My friend’s injury could have gone really bad, if your authorities would not have taken actions fast.

However, nobody expect that wastages lie on a theatre floor. This not only a matter of health-hazard, but also a concern of hygiene. I would highly request you to take immediate steps to keep the theatre neat and clean. You can run an inspection after each show finishes to keep control over the cleaning staffs in this regard.

I look forward to seeking a audience friendly theatre soon.

Kind regards,
Tasnim Fahmi
