Dear John,
I am writing this letter to ask for your permission. I am planning to apply leave for a month, as I want to visit my home town. We have function in our family and I need to attend it. My family will be glad if I’ll join them.
From last 2 years we were busy in completing assignments. I couldn’t find time to visit India. Again will have new assignments in coming year. I know, it won’t be possible to take holidays.
I am planning leave from 1st December to new year’s 1st of January. As we have limited workload during this period. Accordingly, I have to book my flight tickets, as this is the holiday season and there will be good rush while travelling.
I have planned to share my meeting details, daily activity with Sara. She has agreed to cover me during my absence.
I know there are less possibilities to have impact to the deliveries. Still, I will be available on mobile, if any incident occur I can join from there.
