Dear Priya,
Hope you are doing fine. Happy to know that your parents are visiting Mumbai for 3 days in January.
There are quite a few well-known tourist spots that uncle and aunty can visit. However, I will recommend very few well-known places to visit as they are in Mumbai for short period. The first place that they must visit is Gateway of India, an architect marvel built by British in 1930. This place was built near the sea as the British use to dock all their ships. Another well know place that they can visit is Juhu beach, awarded the title of cleanest beach by the Indian government. There are restaurant on this beach which serves authentic Indian style sea food. I am sure your parents will relish the food.
I will be town during uncle and aunty visit, hence I will be happy to take them out for shopping in Colaba causeway which is famous for antiques. Aunty can buy antique china for kitchen, show pieces and even jewellery.
In your letter you have also ask for my recommendation for their hotel stay which should be economical as well as comfortable. I would like to recommend a new hotel will was inaugurated couple of weeks back. I have heard decent review from my friends.
Do let me know if you need any more details. Also, please share their flight details, I will be happy to receive them at the airport.
Lots of Love
Mona
