Dear John,
I am writing this letter to you in regards to the letter I received this morning in which you have mentioned about the noise from my flat and how it is troubling you and others in the society.
First of all, I would like to present my sincere apologies for all the trouble. I know I should have informed you prior to it but, I am sorry for not doing so.
Let me tell you in details, I and my friends are participating in the charity event which is organised by our society this weekend for the children’s hospital down the street. We were lacking the budget and so we were practising the band at my place. However, we were unaware of the fact that the rumble will disturb you and others too.
Once again, I beg your pardon and for the future, it won't repeat, as, the reverberation of the drums was the main reason for the disturbance but now on I’ll put a sound cheater on it before using to muffle the voice. Moreover, I would like to invite you to come and see the performance and give your valuable feedback. Do you mind coming?
Awaiting for your reply
