Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
It is critically important that parents provide a proper situation for their children's success. Personally, I believe parents used to contribute to their children's education far less than today. I feel this way for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, education was not as important as today many years ago. Before the explosion of technology, jobs were based on skills, so most people were trying to teach their children how to make money by working instead of persisting in their education. In fact, many parents were willing their children to continue their career, so children as same as their parents, who most of them did not attend any academic courses, did not need to look at education seriously. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. My grandfather did not know where my father's school was, and the most important thing to my grandpa was the work that my father must have done after his school, but my father has been talking about my lessons and even my teachers with me almost every day.
Furthermore, today’s academic climate is competitive far more than in the past, so parents play a crucial role in this circumstance. If someone wants to study a popular major in the university, he will have to try hard by studying plenty of books and references to compete with their rivals. For instance, there is a big entrance exam for universities In Iran named Konkour. The students allocate at least the last year of their high school to prepare for this exam. If parents do not support their children during this period, they will give up and will never go to the university. Nowadays, having academic education is necessary, not only for landing a decent job but also for earning respect. Parents want their children to have all the good things and experience a fantastic life, so the only way in this way is, helping the students to attend more strictly to their lessons.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that parents are more involved in their children's education rather than before. This is because jobs were skill-based in the past, and there was a minor requirement for education, and the educational climate was not as competitive as today those days.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
