The professor completely refutes the reading. She questions all of the three theories about how to solve the declining frogs populations.
First of all, she argues that reducing the uses of pesticides for farmer is not ecomical practical. Many farmes rely on pesticides to prevent losing huge number of crops. Moreover, there will be disadvantage because other competitors who lives far from the frog habitat do not have to follow the policy. So they will yield more.
Second, the theory about giving anti fungus medication and treatment to frogs is difficult to be implemented. The frogs should be catch first and applied one by one. Also, the frog will not generate the medication to its offspring so the new frogs have to retreatment again.
Third, although it is a good idea to protect water habitats from the excessive uses of humas, the main problem that destruct the frogs habitat is because global warming. Such climate change have contributed to disappear of many wetlands. So it makes the protection of water habitas is unlikely
