Sydney Operra house task
The reading and the lecture are both about Sydney Opera House, which is used for international competition.The author of the reading believes that for dramtic construction of Jorn Utzon many efforts are required because , the structure is very unique. The structure looks different from each and every corner of the building. The lecturer casts doubts on the claims made in the article. She thinks that scullpture should adpat in very situation and they have decide to build roof as curved structure of sailing ship.
First of all, the author point out that when this template was select that time all factors were not consider, so it will take more time for construction. It is mentioned that pervious building the model was and effective task, but eventually the process seem to be more difficult. The point is challenged by lecturer that even thought the task is difficult the output generated will be overwhelming.She thinks the construction is imaginative architecture form. Furthermore, she argues It is not only beautiful art form but also unique all over the world.
Secondly, the passage assert that construction of roof is the most tedious task for the workers.It states that there are many sort of measurement which we need to consider of proper art form. The lecturer rebuts it is difficult but the best thing if achieve. She says that it us the combination of art, architecture, Engineering and Technology. This would not only fit perfectly but also look ascetic.
Finally, the author establishes that this will be extra-ordinary art piece for 20th century. The best construction found all over the world and people will always remeber the efforts taken by the team of people to build this.
