The reading lists three proofs that dinosaurs is endotherm animals. The lecture refutes all three points presented in the reading.
First, the reading mentions that dinosaurs fossils have been discovered in polar regions. It assumes that the dinosaurs has to maintain their body temperature to survive at that kind of condition. However, the lecture arguet that in that year, polar regions is warmer. Also, she explains that the dinosaurs will migrate or hibernate if the winter is coming.
Second, the passage says that dinosaurs have leg structure which allow them have sustained physical activity. This fact will help to maintain their body temperature. Nevertheless, the professor give the reason why the dinosaurs have that kind of structure is because they have to support their huge body size.
Third, although it is true that dinosaurs have haversian canals, they have another feature too called growth rings. The lecturer give explanation that in cold condition the dinosaurs will stop growing or slower instead grow rapidly like the endothermic animals have.
