The cane toad is an animal that transported from South America to Australia to protect framers' crop by eating harmful insects. But suddenly the large population of this animal became the problem for australian. The reading passage propose three methods to stop spreading of the cane toad. But the lecturer thinks that proposed method are not easy and also will cause enviromental damages.
The reading passage proposes national fences to prevent this animals from spreading in different places. But the lecturer thinks that cane toad uses water to spread their eggs and by using water, they can cross these fences easily.
The reading passage proposes a campaign to destroy this animals using volunteers. Because cane toads are easy to gather and destroy. But the lecturer thinks that this method will destroy many native frogs which live in Australia. Because volunteere cannot distinguise this native frogs and cane toad easily.
Finally, the reading passage proposes the method that uses virus to prevent maturing and reproduction in cane toad. But the lecturer thinks that using virus is terrible idea that will have harmful effects on America. Because by exchanging reptiles between two countries, virus will spread in America and also threat the native cane toad which lives in America.
