Both the reading and the lecture discuss whether the "let it burn" policy causes much damage or not. The reading implies that "let it burn" policy is harmful in plants, animals and tourism receipts. However, the professor strongly disagrees with the reading passages.
First of all, the reading passage mentions that the forest fire can damage all the plants. yet, the lecturer severely challenges the theory by arguing that the plants can be created after fire. Because of the large plants is burned by fire, the small plants unshield, and furthermore, the various plants can thrive.
Secondly, the passage indicates that wildlife is affected. Nevertheless, the speaker opposes the evidence revealed in the reading passage. To elaborate, due to plenty of plants creating, the rabbits can have food to eat.
Finally, the passage suggests that there are no tourists coming after fire, and then there are negetive influences to the local economy. yet, the lecturer states that it shows no impact on tourist. The tourist comes years after years.
In conclusion, the professor argues against each theory in the reading. that is to say, she thinks the "let it burn" policy as a good policy.
