Both reading and listening states the vessel of copper of which is of ancient time. But the argument point is whether the copper vessel surrounded by the iron is used as source of electricity in ancient time or not. The author of the reading believes that it is not possible to be used as a source of electricity. The lecture casts doubt about this matter and he says that it can possible to be used as a source of electricity.
Firstly, the reading says that if it is used as a source of electricity there should be presence of conductor or wires. But author says that there is no conductor. The lecture challenged this statement. He says that the device is found not by archaeologist but by people. Furthermore he adds that those people does not have any knowledge that which thing should be preserve and
which things should not be.
Secondly the author of the reading says that copper is found in the Selucia which is sacred scrolls and of same shape. So it is not used as power source of electricity. Lecture rebut this argument. He says that if there is presence of scrolls there may be chance of making this copper and iron together and fill up this liquid. This is in further can be used as source of electricity.
Thirdly the author says that which purpose does this electricity is used. If there is any purpose found for this electricity it would be appear. Clearly there is no purpose means that there is no use of this copper as electricity source. Lecture on the other hand go against the statement. He says that surely there is purpose in which it is used. The purpose is medical and ancient people uses the electricity for shock and it is called as invisible power. In addition people some time believes that there is magical power and that magical power is the source of electricity which is used by ancient doctor. so it is possible that those source of electricity can be used of power source by ancient people.
