TPO 42 integrated writing

The passage discusses about millions of birds that get got injured because of bulidings that made up glasses. The passage explains three solutions for solving this problem. However the professor refutes each of author's solutions.
First, the reading claims that by providing regular, clear glass that one side is transparent and the other side is not, they can solve the issue. However the lecture rejects this solution and asserts that by replacing the glasses, birds cannot find any differences. New glasses are similar to mirrors. So, birds are not capable avoid from mirrors.
Second, the text suggests that paint colorful lines on the glasses can solve the problem. While the professor asserts that these lines must be so narrow to prevents birds from flying toward them. Narrowing the lines on the glasses makes inside of the buildings too dark. So, this solution is not practical.
Thord, the text says that by providing an artificial magnetic field they can guide birds away from buildings. However, the conversation rebuts this solution, too. The lecture claims that birds use the magnetic fields for migration and long distance journies not for short distances. The professor continues that birds just use from light and their eys for short communications. Eventually based on the lecture the soloutiens that mentioned in readings are both impractical and useless.
