TPO-45 - Integrated Writing Task
In the set of materials, the reading passage talks about some theory that show the fossil structures that discovery can’t be bee nests and the listening passage talk about same issue but provide some extra information to prove the fossil structures that discovered can be bee nests.
According to the reading passage this structure can't be bee nests because of three reasons. first, no fossil remains of actual bees have ever been found that date 200 million years ago. The earliest body of bee is 100 million years ago. second, today’s bees feed almost on the flowers of flower plants and flower plants first appeared on earth 125 million years ago, so the bee can't be before the flower plants. The last reason is, chambers of modern bee nest are closed by caps that a spiral pattern, but the fossilized chambers lake such caps.
The professor in the listening passage says that the argument of the reading passage is not convincing and bee nest can be at that time, because of three reasons. first, there aren’t any convincing idea that show bee didn’t exist before that time, therefore the first idea of the reading passage proved unconvincing. second, flower plants don’t exist at that time but maybe the bees feed from un flowering plants because at that time un flowering plants existed, so the writer’s second idea rebutted. Third, the modern chamber containing one social water proof material that the old chamber had this material too, thus reliably the last reason of reading passage retorted.
To sum it all up by taking all the details in the consideration the listening passage retorted the reading passages context and noticed that the bee nest can be exist in 200 million years agoo and this discovery can be bee nests.
