The lecture and reading are both about Voynich"s manuscript, which book are resemble manuscript written in the fifteen and sixteenth centuries. The teacher says that the origin of theories, which are discussed in the reading, is not convenient for the folling reasons.

First of all, the issue of a manuscript as a genuine work. the lecturer states that this manuscript has important and powerful information. Also, it does not have any relation to the Asckem book because Voynich's book has plants subject. However, Asckem's book does not have these subjects. In addition, Asckem's book have no idea in his writing because he was a physician. On the other hand, reading opposes this concept.

Secondly, the trouble of the fake manuscript. The lecturer says that Voynich did not want to trick the people by writing a magical book and selling it to them. thus, the people at that time were easy thinking. He did not need to write with a complex idea like what happed in his manuscript. consequently, the passage argues with this concept.

Finally, the problem of modern fake. The professor asserts that This manuscript made from ink and velloum. These materials returned to 400 years ago. in addition, he says that from where Youag has ink because the age of ink 400 years. However, the author opposes this concept.
