The graph below shows female unemployment rates in each country of the United Kingdom in 2013 and 2014.
The graph represents the unemployment rates among female workers in the countries that make up of the United Kingdom in 2013 and 2014.
Overall, the female unemployment rates decreased in most of UK countries except for Scotland where it had an increasing unemployment rates in females.
In 2013, England had the highest percentage of females who were out of work as it recorded of 6.8% rates, followed by Scotland of 6.1% and the lowest female unemployment rates were wales and Northern Ireland. 5.6% of women in Northern Ireland were unemployed whereas 5.4% of women in Wales were unemployed.
Scotland was the only country which had an increasing unemployment rate and by 2014 had the highest unemployment rate of 6.7%. Comparatively, the rest of countries reduced with the unemployment rates. England decreased its unemployment rate by 0.3%, Wales by 0.4% and the lesser Northern Ireland females were unemployed as their unemployment rates were the lowest of 4.6%.
