The bar charts shows the transport chosen by people from 1950 to 1990.
The graph shows 21% people chose commute by in 1950, where 32% people opted bikes. Almost, 7% selected travel by car and about 40% selected travel by foot.
In 1970, public transport was high compared to other way. Where, maximum number of people's travelled by bus it was 32%, followed by 27% who used cars and were in turn followed by 23% who chose bikes. Proportion of people and at that only 17% preferred to walk.
However, in 1990 most of people preferred travel by car it was 63%, next the mode chosen by approximately 16% was the bus, bikes and walking were around 10% of travellers.
Finally, the graph indicate car indeed became the prime choice over the period 1959 to 1990 in European country.
