The graphs illustrate the proportion of computer owner in the period of 2002 and 2010 and the comparison amongst the education level of people who has the gadget in two years 2002 and 2010. It is of note that the overall trend of the number of computer users was steadily upwards in all education level.
At first glance, there were more and more people owning a computer from 2002 to 2010. The time period experienced a climb from approximately 58% of the population in 2002 to more than 70% in 2010, the increase of 12% in 8 years. The steady rise is about 3% of the total population per year.
From 2002 to 2010, it is noticeable that the higher the education level of the computer users, the higher the proportion of the users over the population. In 2002, the number of people who do not gain high school diploma owns the device was 15% of the population while this proportion was nearly 80% in case of postgraduates. Notwithstanding, the percentage of computer owners who do not have high school qualification soar almost triple in comparison to 2002 and 2010 while the higher education level ones had slighter climbs. The increase in the percentage of postgraduates who had a computer was a mere of 5% in 2010 compared to 2002.
Overall, the proportion of computer users was steadily increased over the period of 8 years. The percentage of lower educated users was substantially less than the higher educated ones but the differences tend to be shortened.
