Recently your employer offered some employees to do some work directly from home. Write a letter to your manger requesting the same arrangement. You should say– Why do you want to work from home?– Why would it be beneficial for the company and yourself.
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this application to let you know about my interest to avail the opportunity to work from resident. Allow me to explain why this facility interests me a lot.
Few weeks back, my wife gave birth of a baby and she is still not fit enough to take responsibilities of family matters. Meanwhile, appointing a nurse is very expensive. At the same time, you know the traffic condition in the road is not good as well. As a result, after travelling long time and return to my living place, I fail to give time to my child which is unexpected from a father.
If the facility is provided then it is possible to give more effort for completion of tasks as I do not have to waste time on road which will be good for our firm. On the other hand, a tension free working environment will be ensured as I will be able to remain with my family members. I just need to have a desktop computer and a modem which is expected to be provided by the office.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours
Jack
