The line graph illustrates the average number of UK worker traveling by three different transport from 1970 to 2030.

Overall, the car is by far the most popular of types of transport of the majority of the 60-year period. And there is a gradual decline of the people who use the bus.

In 1970, around 5 million UK commuters used a car to travel to work each day, whereas the number of workers chose the train and the bus below 3 million and about 4 million, respectively. Up to 2000, there was a strong increase driver rose to 6 million. Passengers used the train also slightly went up exactly 3 million. On the contrary, the number of workers catching a bus was slowly fell approximately 0.5 million.

In 2030, commuters who travelled by car wil be expected to quickly rise to 9 million. roughly 6 million passengers are predicted to use the train. In contrast, there is a continuous decrease in the figure for traveler chose the bus below 3 million.
