The charts below show the number of Japanese tourists travelling abroad between 1985 and 1995 and Australia’s share of the Japanese tourist market.
Given are the charts providing information about the amount of people travelled from Japan and the proportion of Australia in their preference to visit. It is clearly seen that, both indicators almost tripled during the indicated period.
A glance at the first chart reveals that, from 1985 to 1990 the number of people gradually increased by 6 million. After a slight decrease in 1991 people again became active in travelling and before hitting the peak at 15 million in 1995 the indicators became almost equally (12 million) in 1992 and 1993.
