You hired a car from a rental company and while you were on holiday, you have a small accident. You will have to write to the company to explain it. You need to explain:
• Where you hired it and when?
• Describe how the accident happened?
• What you did after the accident?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you regarding an accident that happened last week at City Centre Square. I was driving the car I rented from your City Centre Deira office on the 12th May.
This accident happened on Monday 15th May at 12pm, while I was exiting the shopping mall parking area. A car right behind ran into the back of the car leaving a dent on the bumper. We had immediately called the traffic police from the accident spot. Since it was a minor accident and all papers of the car is up-to-date, there were no issues in getting the claim report from the police. As per the cops, I can take the car along with the documents to the insurance claim department for an evaluation and cost-free repair.
Following the accident, I have carefully driven it to a nearby long-term parking bay. I would prefer not to drive the car and cause any additional damage to the car. I hereby attach all the copies of claim reports for your reference. Please let me know when you can arrange to take back the car and original docs from me.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Awaiting your earliest response.
Yours faithfully,
Sandra Brown
