According to the two figures, the first figure represents the proportion of committed offenders in the UK by different age groups and sexes, and the second pie chart displays a comparison regarding the percentage of convicted criminal in different sexes.
It is obvious that the number of male committed offenders is always higher than female in all the age group, especially in adolescence, the amount of criminality hits the high point in both sexes, while the male criminal is the triple of female. That could be expected, there are a significant discrepancies showed as the pie chart in two sexes of the people in the jail.
The conviction rates of both genders illustrate a similar trend from all the age group. At the age of 10, the female and male offenders are 0% and 2% respectively. From then on, the conviction rate of youth boy soars to 16% at the age of 20, which is the highest percentage of all the age. In the meantime, a steady increase is showed on the conviction rate in youth girl reaches 5% at the age of 20. Afterwards, the number of criminality starts tuning down in male and female, gradual declines to the 2% and 0%. During all the age group, the percentage of male prisoner is remarkable large than female. Therefore, it shows a proportion that men outnumber women 24 to 1.
