You are planning to spend a weekend at a hotel with your family. Write a letter to the hotel making the arrangements. Include the following:
when you want to arrive and leave
explain the type of rooms you would like and ask how much they will cost
ask about activities
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you with excitement and enthusiasm to visit your hotel. As we are a bunch of people in different age groups, we have certain requirements to be fulfilled. Hence, we would require your staff to make the arrangements prior to our arrival.
We will check-in to your hotel on 24th April at 12:00 PM and shall check out on 28th April before dawn. We require two exquisite presidential suites. Apart from this, we also require 3 standard rooms with king size beds, which have (You are referring to 3 rooms) river front views. We will appreciate it (As mentioned below, it might have been better to say – I will) if you could let us know an estimated cost for the overall requirements.
We are also keen to explore adventurous sports activities. Perhaps, not everyone in the group will have similar tastes. (Or – a similar taste) Hence, I am requesting you to kindly send me a list of activities with their cost on my email ID abc@gmail.com. Due to the short duration of our stay, i would request you to refer us to (we are usually referred – to – things) places for activities which are near to the hotel.
We will look forward to your kind response.
Yours faithfully,
Jessica Nayak
