In this set of materials, the reading passages discuss that the structures that find in Arizona are not acceptable as a evidence for the presence of bees in 200 million years ago and explained some reason for this claim. While the professor in the listening canst doubt in what is presented in the text and believes that the arguments that describe in the text are not convincing.

First of all, in the text, it is clearly mentioned that because of we could not find fossils that remain from bees related to 200 million years ago it does not means that this insect can not present at this time. The insect's body preserves in the sticky materials like resin that produced by trees. And no fossil evidence can completely related to no presence of trees that producing this sticky material.

In addition, the professor disagrees with this idea that absence of the flowering plant at 200 million years ago shows that the bee could not present at this time. She says that these bees can be nourished from other plants like franc or pantries. because in the early bees did not nourish just from flowering plants.

Finally, in the text, it is stated that the structures that find in Arizona have not any evidence that shows that this structure related to the bees and this nest can be produced by other insects like the beetle. the professr subscribes that we have evidence that shows that this structurs produced by bees. Some special chemicals waterproof substance present in this nest that very similar to the waterproof substance that produced by modern bees.
