Both the reading passage and the lecture point out the discovery of a dinosaur fossil. The reading passage argues scientists were finding a new fossil contain remains of the tissues of the animal, and these discoveries are so important because it gives the scientists the opportunity to study of soft tissue that has a little chance to appear after fossilization. While the professor encounters there findings as they were as animals soft tissues instead, these may be just mineral disposition.
First, the author claims the branching channels that appeared inside the fossilized leg bone, and it looks like the blood vessels were it located. However, the professor argues that by telling these channels may come from the bacteria that attack the dinosaur after damage, and these animals arranged in a row, so they appeared like channels.
Second, the article discusses the presence of spheres that may be the residue of red blood cell. Although, the speaker casts doubt on this point by explaining that their spheres also found in another primitive and these animals did not have red blood cell. So, the dinosaur even primitive animal, so these could be red mineral.
Third, the article claims the collagen found in the animal remain. Even though, the professor opposes this point by explaining that there is no animal residue found contain collagen older than a thousand year ago, so how could that possible for the dinosaur a million year ago. And this remains of collagen may be from other as the human for example when he is trying to handle the pone of that dinosaur.
