In this set of materials the reading passge discusses that severlar reason to criticize the idea that the copper cylinder that find in a archaeologic site is related to ancent electric batteries. While, in the listening the professor casts doubts on what is presented in the text and believes that each of these reason is not convencing.
First of all, in the text it is clearly mentioned that there is not any evidence of electrcity conductors like metal wires. However, the professor claims that the vessels found by local people not Archeologists, thus because this people do not train Archeology so maybe they remove this coductors materials . threrefore we never find its.
In addition, theprofessor disagrees with this idea that the copper cylinders were utilized for holding scrolls of sacred text. She says that isf the copper cylanders have been used for one aim it is not reasonable that this copper cylinders could not had another consum. And also, it is possible that they firsly used from this copper cylinders as scolls and after that adoupt its fopr another purpose.
Finally, in the text it is stated that is vessels were useless for ancent people because they had not any divice that need electristy. the professor subscribes that this vessels could have been used as invisible power for this people and also trtheir doctors maybe used from this ppower for hiting and stimulation of mussels like today doctors.
