You live in a room in a college where you share your room with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and difficult to work or study. write a letter to the accommodation office, at the college. In letter, you should
1 Describe the situation
2. explain the problem and why it is difficult to work
3. say what kind of accommodation you would prefer.
Dear Sir,
I am John staying in room 215 in the college hostel. I am writing this letter to let you know that I am unhappy with my current living conditions. While accommodation itself is fine, my roommate is the who is making it intolerable making it almost impossible for studying.
To start with, the trouble started three months ago when my housemate first moved in. Prior to that, everything was absolutely fine, my old roommate was extremely considerate. However, my current roommate stays up almost all night and plays incessantly loud music. Sometimes he comes with his friends and parties all night. As such, I am not able to sleep properly and does not have a fruitful production in my work and cannot concentrate on my studies.
Would you kindly transfer me or my roommate to other room? I would much prefer to stay with someone who is quieter and considerate others. I do not mind whoever it is to live with until it is a good place to study.
Thank you for the consideration,
John.
