The bar chart depicts the amount of electricity produced and consumed in the top ten nations in 2014. The unit which was used in the chart is kWh.
It is evident, in general, that electricity was sufficiently produced for consumption in almost all the countries with the leading producers and consumers in the world were China and the USA.
To be more precise, the figures for China and the United States were multiple times higher than those of other nations with around 5000 and approximately 4000, respectively. In contrast, Korean, Rep hold the last position in both production (about 480 kWh) and consumption (around 450) categories.
By comparison, the amount of electricity produced and consumed in Russian was relatively equal at just over 1000 kWh, and this number outweighed slightly that of Japan and India. All other countries generated and used around 500 kWh with the most significant difference between these two patterns was in Canada by nearly 120. Strikingly, only in Germany did people use electricity more than they made it.
