The pictures below show how tomato ketchup is made.
The diagram illustrates the way in which tomato ketchup is produced. Overall, there are 15 key stages in the process, starting with harvesting tomatoes and ending with delivering the products to the customers.
The first stage of the whole process is that the tomatoes are picked and put in a basket by farmers. At this point, the tomatoes have been sorted before the good ones are transported to a factory, where the ketchup is made. After having been removed stalk, skin, and seeds, these tomatoes are crushed in a container where flavors (sugar, vinegar, and salt) are added into.
At the next stage, the ketchup is boiled and it then takes about two hours for the cooling process. After that, this ketchup is poured into bottles which are stuck labels then. To guarantee the quality of the products, the bottles have been checked standard requirements before the quality ones are then packed into boxes. Following this, these final products are delivered to supermarkets. Finally, the customers can enjoy the tomato ketchup with their food.
