The table below show the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two period.

The footfall of people increased from 74,000 to 92,000 after the refurbishment of museum. The percentage of very satisfied and satisfied guests increased, conversely the proportion of people who were dissatisfied and very dissatisfied decreased largely. The percentage of people who chose not to respond remained constant.
Along with the toll of people increasing, the percentage of very satisfied customers plummeted from 15 percent to 35 percent after renewing the museum. The portion of guests who were satisfied from earlier visit increased from 30 percent to 40 percent. In contrast, the percentage of visitors who were dissatisfied and very dissatisfied earlier decreased from 40 percent to 15 percent and 10 percent to 5 percent respectively. There were still 5 percent of the visitors who denied commenting both before and after refurbishment.
In conclusion, it can be observed, that after the renovation, more people showed up and were, in general, more satisfied with their visit than earlier.
