The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The flow-chart describes different stages in the process of making bricks for constructive purpose.
Overall, it is clear to see that the process has seven stages, beginning with taking the raw material for making bricks and ending with the delivery of finished product.
First, the clay, which is taken from the ground by a digger, is put on a metal grid to shatter into small species before moving to a roller. Then, after adding some water and sand, there are two ways to form the mixture into the shape of bricks. One is using the wire cutter to cut that thick mixture into many rectangular cuboid shapes and another is using a mould.
In the next stage, all the raw bricks are dried in the drying oven from 24 to 48 hours. Then, they have to go through three different rooms with different levels of heat. At first, they are put into the second kiln with the high temperature, from 870°C to 1300°C after being under moderate temperature, 200°C to 980°C in the first kiln. Then, they are moved to cooling chamber from 48 to 72 hours. After that, all the bricks are ready to be packed into large blocks and transported in trucks.
