22/09/2017Write a letter to a friend to ask for his/her help to collect money for a charity organization. The letter needs to cover the following details.
- why do you want to collect money for the charity organization?
- Ask your friend to help
- explain in detail how your friend can help.
Dear Sam,
long time no see. How have you been? By the way I am looking for your help in a community work we have decided to take on for a human cause.
you already know I am an active member of a community organization and this time around this non-profit organization is all set to give help to people affected by the recent earthquake in my district. Although, our goal is to build small-scale housing for those whose shelter have been completely shattered by the quake and have nowhere to hide, we are first looking to start from fund collection to get there finally. As you have volunteered in similar situations before by launching online campaigns, I was thinking you will be the right man for us to help out.
can you set up a web-page for this social project? I believe having a website can go a long way in our effort to collect fund because people like to trust things on an official site. Digital campaigns for money-raising activities are going well at the moment and having you lead this will definitely take us to our destination.
It will be awesome if you can agree with my proposal. Hope to read back from you soon.
Your friend,
Satish
