The line graph below shows the household recycling rates in three different countries between 2005 and 2015.
The figure elucidates the rates of household recycling in the UK, France and Germany from 2005 to 2015. At the first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred in the number of household recycling in France and the UK.
To begin with the UK and France, 2005 to 2015 witnessed a tremendous upsurge in the amount of household recycling in the UK in which it stood at two-tenths in 2005 and achieved at well beneath 6 in 10. Following the same pattern as the UK, the percentage of household recycling in France jumped over the following period, soaring to just above three-fifths in 2015.
In contrast, there was a dramatic drop in the total of household recycling in Germany between 2005, which approximately constituted at a half, and 2013, which roughly made up at less than a third. Erratically, it climbed enormously to just under four-tenths by the end of the period shown.
