The bar chart provides the percentage of unemployment rates of women in different countries that all in the UK between 2013 and 2014. Overall, it is can be seen that the figure for Scotland is the only one increased over this time whereas others all less the rate.
Looking at the data in more detail, we can see that England had the largest percentage in 2013, with the rate of 6.8%. However, it slightly decreased to 6.5% in 2014. In the same period, the proportion of unemployment rates in Scotland increased from 6.1% to 6.7% and it became the first place in 2014.
In 2013, 5.4% of women in Wales are unemployed which was the smallest figure compared with others and it still fell by 4% after a year late. Northern Ireland had noticeably changed between 2013 and 2014, the percentage stood at 5.6% and reached 4.6% which is the lowest unemployment rates in 2014.
