Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.
Write a letter to the college enrollment officer. In your letter
• explain why you are writing
• describe your circumstances
• ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enroll in the course
Dear John,
I am Harry, and a frequent visitor & a registered member of your computing web portal; as it gives enormous knowledge with well defined materials. I am writing this letter to request for my enrollment in the jawa course which was posted today on your website for an exception.
I am currently working as a testing analyst with a renowned firm and having an experience of 3 years, after pursuing my graduation in information technology. my job is really competitive and requires technology updgrades on a daily basis and hence I am really keen to take this course.
I read through the pre-requisite and it seems that it requires an elementary course to be completed prior to taking the same. I would like you to make an exception for me as I already know the basics of computing along with vital handson experience with various projects in same domain. Additionally I see there are other benefits for the paid member of your site which I am already.
I hope you will consider the above points for me and offer me an opportunity to take the jawa course with an expection. Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
your's faithfully
Harry
