You have a full-time job and are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your tutor. In your letter
– describe the situation
– explain why you cannot continue at this time
– say what action you would like to take
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I currently work as a Senior Software Developer for the Net Dream Software and I recently joined a part-time evening MBA at the ERA University. I am writing to request a change in my enrollment due to the conflicting work and class schedules. I am hoping that you would register me in the distance MBA program so that I can finish the course.
With regards to the conflicting work-and-class schedule, I was recently assigned a few new projects in my office and I am expected to work till 8.00 pm. This would continue for the next six or seven months. As a result, my office hours conflicts my evening course which starts from 6.30 every other day. Hence, I cannot pursue the evening course anymore.
After I talked to my class teachers, they suggested me to intake the distance MBA program instead. I believe I am capable of finishing the assignments and examinations at my own pace. As far as I am concerned, both programs cost the same. Hence, I am expecting to take the distance program instead. Now I need your permission to change my course type.
I am expecting to hear from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Abraham Taylor
