The map illustrates the transformation of Meadowside from a pristine village to a suburb of Fonton.
Overall, Meadowside has undergone drastic changes over the period before it becomes a part of the city of Fonton. The connection of the two islands and infrastructural developments are noticeable.
In 1962, Fonton and Meadowside were two different villages which can be travelled by road or train separately. However , more than 20 years after, a road was constructed from the southeast of Fonton all the way to the southwest of Meadowside. The railway system of Fonton remained while; road widening took place to the old road of the village. In addition, the old village of Meadowside was expanded giving way to housing space and superstore at the southern tip. A leisure complex was erected at the northern part near the road.
At the present, further improvements take place. The two areas are now connected by land mass where the transport station is constructed in the middle which is the upper side of the road and behind is a hotel. On the other side, a business park is build.
