The chart below gives information about global sales of games software, CDs and DVD or video.
The given visualization elucidates the sales of games software, CDs and DVD or video over the world in the period from 2000 to 2003.
It is clear that the sales of games software and DVD or video witnessed a steady increase over the time frame while that of CDs went down slightly.
It can be seen from the chart that the figure for CDs was the highest point at the begining of the period, standing at $35, and even almost doubled that for DVD. During the following years, it started to decline constantly but still remained ahead of the others at $32.
On the other hand, DVD or video accounted for the second best sales, then rose decidedly over the period from $18 to its highest mark at just over $30, narrowing the gap between this figure and the highest one. The similar proportion can be seen in games software, whose sales experience a stable growth over four years, from approximately $13 to end the period at a high of about $18.
