You are a member of an organisation which meets regularly at a particular restaurant. The most recent meal you had there was not satisfactory.
Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In your letter
• explain why you are writing
• describe what went wrong with the meal and service
• suggest what the manager should do to ensure that you and your group return to the restaurant
Dear manager,
I am writing this letter on behalf of my recent meeting which organized at your restaurant “The Cornet’s” on behalf of the Lion’s Club on 28th august, Wednesday. The meal was not up to the mark as the regular ones.
The food which served contained expired meat. The vegetables were not cooked properly. The caterers were not helpful. The request of the guest was not looked upon properly. The meeting conducted at late night. The meeting informed to the restaurant at a short notice with less time for preparation.
I would suggest that the management should be aware of the regular customers and meeting which are held regularly at the restaurant. The advance booking should open at least a week ahead so that the crowd can be managed properly. The late-night parties should be planned so that staffing is present even after the working hours and the charges can be increased for off-hour parties.
Looking forward for a greater hospitality in the future to please the customers.
Regards,
shafaquat
