The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The map below provides an illustration of the expansion plan of the Islip town centre, whereas the other map above depicts its current condition. In general, it seems, that the town's development is unfinished and has notable changes to the contrary of the plan.

Regarding the map below, it was predicted to build a dual carriageway around the main facilities. However, now the road's construction is uncompleted and has some misleading, such as being partly built from the western and eastern sides.

As for the other amenities, planned by the map below, a prediction of a pedestrian road in the middle was substituted with the main road. As well as, a car park, a bus station and a new housing intended to settle along the northern part of the countryside, were totally removed. Consequently, a shopping centre was expanded at this part of the town, encompassing the significant part of the square. The considerable change is seen in the scope of the park, as it is developed twice as more as it was predicted by the plan.
