You will be graduating from university and would like to invite your family to the ceremony.
Write a letter of invitation to your parents. In the letter:
– Explain that you have completed your studies
– Give details of the event, including time, date and dress code
– Let them know how many tickets they have and who they are for
To begin with, I received the result today and I have passed the final semester exam with all A's along with the final year project presentation.
Further to this, our university is arranging a graduating ceremony, in the Millennium hall, located in south-west England. it will held on 5/9/19, this weekend. Moreover, the arrival time is 8:00 am. Besides, you have to follow the dress code, you have to be dressed formal, it is a black-tie event.
In addition, only two members of the family are allowed for every student, I did try to have extra seats so that I could invite my sister too, but there is a limited number of seats that can fit in the room. so I would be delightful to have you both here.
Please, do let me know if you can make it. I hope to see you soon.
Yours sincerely,
