In 2000, international tourism generated by far the biggest earning at approximately £8 billion whereas the lowest were meat products at £6 billion. However, this year dairy product has become the leading main exports which earned nearly £10 billion and meat products remained to have the least generated revenue at roughly £5.7billion.
By 2025, international tourism is predicted to peak its earning at almost £10 billion to become the highest income generating export. Revenue from meat products will decrease to a low of £5 billion while a slight drop of around £2 billion could be seen on dairy products.
