The bar graph demonstrates the value of a country’s export in different categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage increase or decrease in each category of exports in 2016 in comparison with 2015.
From the graph it is evident that in 2015 the value of export was most in the field of petroleum products, about 60 billion dollars, which increased by 3% in from 2015 to 2016. Engineered goods contributed a significant portion to the export of the country in 2015. It increased by a substantial percentage in 2016, 8.5%. Other categories like agricultural products and textiles have an increasing trend from 2015 to 2016. Although agricultural product export increased by a slight percentage, textiles grew by 15.24%, which is the largest percentage increase among all the others.Gems and jewellery is the only category which faced a reduction in it’s export, about 5.18%. The overall data indicates that the export value has a mixed trend in all the categories.
