You recently went shopping at the local supermarket, when you got home and studied your bill you found that you had been charged for items you did not purchase. Write a letter to supermarket manager explaining what has happened. Tell the manager how you feel about the error and ask him to do sth. about it.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about charging items I didn’t purchase on bill. I visited our store to the opposite of Grand Hotel on Marble Street to buy 0-5 age boy trousers yesterday. I bought not only trousers but also hat with the aid of helpful sales consultant. If I remember correctly, cashier whose name was John helped me in front of cash desk. They were charged as $53 and paid in cash.
While looking through my receipt today, I noticed trousers and two hats seems to have been sold on the bills, even though I bought trousers and one hat. It seems that I have paid more than it should. If I remember correctly, your cashier’s name was John. Could you calculate the items I bought again and if I paid more, could you refund me exceeds charged?
I will be satisfied if you help me to rectify this mistake I’m looking forward to getting a reply from you.
Thank you for your support.
